Surf City Segway features a Segway tour around Huntington Beach, California, the largest beach city in Orange County. The city has a nine-and-a-half-mile stretch of sandy beach, mild climate, and excellent surfing, hence the nickname “Surf City USA.” We offer Segway tours for up to ten customers at a time. All tours begin with intensive, detailed safety instructions along with a video tutorial.

Ocean Front Trail Segway Tour

Customers pilot the on-road Segway PT I2 while observing multi-million dollar houses along the beautiful Pacific Ocean, beachgoers playing volleyball on white-sand beaches, and the famous Huntington Beach Pier. This Segway tour (after training) averages an hour and a half in duration.

History of Our Town

Huntington Beach, California, was established in 1909 as a large processing plant for crops such as celery and sugar beets, and was later converted into an oil refinery. The local high school’s team, the Oilers, is named after the city’s natural resource. Our wetlands, which are home to many species of birds and other wildlife, were restored in 2006, costing $110 million to renovate. The wetlands are part of the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve, which is popular with bird watchers and photographers. There are also campsites in the area that are popular on the Fourth of July and during the US Open Surfing Championship.   Nicknamed “Surf CIty USA” you will see the best surfing spots and the famous “Dog Beach” where dogs are free to enjoy the beach and waves.
